Yep. It is time to stop living your life as if you are in a vacuum. What exactly might that mean to you? It might mean you are letting your life go down the tubes. Sure you have a wonderful nuclear and extended family, some good friends, and a job that lets you afford to live in a decent environment.Things could be worse.
Of course you want to make some time to enjoy yourself and do the things that you enjoy and which are relaxing and fulfilling to you. A little couch-potato time is also definitely deserved and needed from time to time. Just don’t get to where that is always the first and last part of your day as a rule. If so maybe you need vitamins or more exercise if this is always your preference for what to do with the next hour.
So beyond all that living you are doing, did you ever just as an experiment analyze how much time you waste? Really look at and even document times where you know you could be accomplishing something but you aren’t. Why not in the spirit of a hobby, start a business online? It’s easy and could mean you have extra money to do more eventually.
Just as you might someday count all the change in your piggy bank and be amazed at how much you have saved, it might work out the same if you manage to carve out an hour or two a week to develop a home business online. It may be fun to socialize on the various social networks, but really, what does it buy you? Friendship and sociability have their value, so do a little of that to be ‘well-rounded’.
However, if you spend literally all your online time chattering and surfing you are wasting what could represent valuable time where you could actually be accomplishing something to improve your bottom line. Do it but do it with an eye on discovering something exciting and productive. Then someday put it all together and do something with it.
